Sunnybrae Park

Sunnybrae Park is a great spot for family recreation which includes a playground, ample parking, washrooms, a vault toilet and a beach on Shuswap Lake. It has a picnic area adjacent to one of the best beaches in the Shuswap. For swimmers, there is a large swim raft on site in the protected swimming area.

The park was recently improved with several new picnic tables, landscaping including shade trees, and a retaining wall with better access to the beach.

There is also a short trail along the lake for an easy stroll. A children's playground was installed in 2009 with help from the local Fire Department and other volunteers.

Work will be underway June 10 to 19, 2019 to improve the Sunnybrae Park parking lot. Access to the park will be temporarily disrupted during construction. The parking lot will be closed weekdays during this time, but will be open on weekends.
