CSRD adds support to Sicamous Wellness Centre proposal

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) Board is backing a proposal from the District of Sicamous to apply for a $6 million grant towards the development of a Community Wellness Centre.

CSRD wants commercially generated printed paper and packaging added to Recycle BC program

The CSRD Board wants to improve the ability of businesses in the region to access local recycling programs and are asking the provincial government for a change in policy to allow for it.

Directors seek improvements to TCH intersection in Electoral Area B

Ice rinks not ready for skaters

Public ice skating rinks at the Sorrento-Blind Bay Community Park and at Farrells Field in Celista are currently not in operation.

Due to the mild temperatures and rain, both of these popular CSRD ice rinks are not usable. The ability to open the outdoor rinks is entirely weather dependent.
