What is DP 725-156?
The subject property is located at 3974 Sunnybrae-Canoe Pt Road in Sunnybrae of Electoral Area C and is waterfront to Shuswap Lake.

The subject property’s foreshore is currently zoned Foreshore Residential 1 (FR1) in Lakes Zoning Bylaw No. 900. The upland property owner has an existing dock and two private mooring buoys located in the bay. The owner has applied to the Board for a DP with variance to recognise the floating dock and two private mooring buoys. One of the buoys is proposed to be relocated and installed back within the Foreshore Residential 1 (FR1) zone, the other buoy and the dock are to remain in their current locations within the FR1 zone. Due to siting constraints from other existing foreshore structures (private mooring buoys) and the shape of the bay, the proposed locations of the two buoys do not meet the FR1 zone 5 m side setback from the side parcel boundaries of the subject property projected onto the foreshore. The proposal includes a request to vary the east side parcel boundary setback from 5 m to 0 m for the two private mooring buoys and for each to be located in front of another waterfront property’s foreshore as shown on the site plan labelled with the GPS coordinates as Buoy 1 and Buoy 2b.

How do I send a written submission about this permit application?
Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday November 13, 2018. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your Submission. The author's phone number and email address are not relevant to the Board’s consideration of this matter and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received by the CSRD are subject to public disclosure and a copy may be provided to the applicant. Please clearly write "DP Submission – No. 725-156" on your submission. Where and when will the permit be considered for issuance?
At the CSRD, 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC, during the Regular Board Meeting commencing at 9:30 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
The Board meeting is open for public attendance, however, there is no specific opportunity for the public to provide verbal or written submissions about this permit application at this meeting.
