Update Thursday, November 8, 2018:

The inspection of the Eagle Bay Estates Water System is now complete and the water system is now running normally.

The CSRD thanks the residents connected to the Eagle Bay Estates Water System for their patience in conserving water during the recent inspection of the lake water intake.

Original

Users of the Eagle Bay Water System are being asked to conserve water during a scheduled shut-down of the system for maintenance.

The CSRD will be conducting inspections of the lake intake for the Eagle Bay Estates Water System beginning on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 9:00 AM and ending on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 3:30 PM.

In order to ensure the safety of the dive crew during these inspections, the lake intake pumps will be turned off and locked out. During this shut-down period, water will not pump into the reservoir, and users are asked to refrain from running high water-usage appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines. This will ensure adequate water levels are maintained in the reservoir, in case of an emergency.

The CSRD thanks residents for their patience and cooperation.
