What is Electoral Area C Official Community Plan Amendment (1174355 BC Ltd.) Bylaw No. 725-16 (BL725-16) and South Shuswap Zoning Amendment (1174355 BC Ltd.) Bylaw No. 701-94 (BL725-16/BL701-94)?

These bylaws propose to redesignate and rezone portions of the subject property legally described as The East ½ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 4, Township 22, Range 11, W6M, KDYD, located at 1336 Taylor Road to allow it to be used for a cannabis production facility. The bylaw amendments will also include text amendments to Bylaw No. 725 to include an additional policy allowing cannabis production on lands designated Industrial and to Bylaw No. 701 adding new definitions relating to cannabis production facilities as well as a new CP – Cannabis Production Zone. Who should attend? Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw amendment, shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw at the Public Hearing.

How do I send a written submission? Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 or may be submitted until the close of the Public Hearing.
