Effective at noon on Sunday, June 15, 2014, open burning was banned througout the entire Kamloops Fire Centre Area, which includes the Salmon Arm Fire Zone area. This is to help prevent human-caused wildfires and protect the
public. There are currently no campfire bans in effect for the Kamloops Fire Centre.

The CSRD is proposing amendments to Lakes Zoning Bylaw No. 900 to increase the allowable size of docks in foreshore residential zones from 24 m2 to 30 m2. This bylaw applies to Shuswap, Mara, White, Little White, Adams, Humamilt and Hunakwa Lakes. We are seeking comments from the general public with regard to these proposed amendments.
A bylaw to amend the Shuswap Economic Development Service Bylaw No. 5268 to remove the District of Sicamous as a participant in this service.
