17:45 PM - The evacuation of approximately 1,000 residents is currently underway in the District of Sicamous. A reception centre has been set up at the Sicamous Seniors Centre, 1091 Shuswap Avenue, Sicamous.
BC Wildfire is actively and aggressively fighting the fire at Two Mile Creek. The Shuswap Emergency Program and CSRD Fire Departments are supporting the firefighting efforts and structural protection support.
