What is Development Variance Permit Number 701-109 (DVP701-109)?
The subject property is located at 3959 Eagle Bay Road in Eagle Bay of Electoral Area C and is legally described as Lot 2 Section 1 Township 23 Range 10 West of the 6th Meridian Kamloops Division Yale District Plan 16895 Except Plan 21287. The lot is more particularly shown on the location map below:

Currently, there are two dwellings on the property and this proposal includes reconstructing a single-family dwelling (cabin) and converting the second dwelling (carriage house) to an accessory building. The maximum height permitted for an accessory building is 6 metre and the height of the existing carriage house is 6.7 metre; therefore, a 0.7 metre height variance is being requested. This application requires the following variance to South Shuswap Zoning Bylaw Number 701:
Increase the maximum height for an accessory building from 6 metre to 6.7 metre
See the site plan below for the locations of the proposed variance.
