CSRD Office closed for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The CSRD Offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 30 to mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We encourage you to join us in a journey of learning and reflection about what you can do to support the Truth and Reconciliation process. Commemoration of the tragic legacy of residential schools is a vital component of reconciliation. 

But this is not just a one-day event. The CSRD also encourages all of its residents make an ongoing commitment to learn more about Truth and Reconciliation.

Those looking for information about the history of Canada’s residential school system, Orange Shirt Day, and the Truth and Reconciliation Committee of Canada are invited to visit the resources listed:

CSRD landfills and transfer stations will operate on their regularly scheduled hours.
