To mark National Day of Mourning honouring Queen Elizabeth II, the CSRD office in Salmon Arm will be closed on Monday, September 19, 2022. This coincides with the late Queen’s state funeral in London, and will mark the end of the official period of mourning in Canada.

The National Day of Mourning is an opportunity for Canadians to commemorate Canada’s longest-reigning sovereign.

All CSRD landfills and transfer stations will remain open for their regularly scheduled hours on Monday, September 19.

The CSRD office will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, September 20 at 9 AM.
