Bristow Road, Harbour Road Boat Launches closed

Bristow Road Boat Launch

Effective immediately, the boat launch at Bristow Road will be closed due to low water, as well as a potential hazard located at the end of the launch.  

CSRD Parks staff have inspected the launch and have recommended immediate closure.  

CSRD Parks staff will investigate options to determine possible remedies and required permitting to address the hazardous conditions.  

The Harbour Road Boat Launch, located at 1955 Eagle Bay Road, Blind Bay, is now closed for the season due to low lake levels. 

The Whitehead Road and Markwart Boat Launches are alternative locations for boaters to use. The Markwart Boat Launch is located at  2888 Markwart Road, Sorrento and the Whitehead Road Boat Launch is located at 4325 Whitehead Rd, Eagle Bay.
