Tappen Co-op Recycling Depot closes September 1

The Tappen Co-op recycling depot

The last day of operation for Tappen Co-op Recycling Depot, located at 4828 Trans-Canada Highway, will be Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Due to the changes to the Trans-Canada Highway in that area and the owners' planned upgrades to the Tappen Co-op Store and Gas Bar, the recycling depot will be permanently closed as of Thursday, September 1, 2022. 

Alternate locations for recyclables include:

  • Sorrento Recycling Depot
    1164 Passchendaele Road, Sorrento
  • Skimikin Transfer Station
    2281 Skimikin Road, Tappen
  • Bill's Bottle Depot
    2840 - 13th Avenue SW, Salmon Arm
  • Salmon Arm Landfill
    4290 - 20th Avenue SE, Salmon Arm
