What is Temporary Use Permit No. 830-15 (TUP830-15)?
The subject property is located at 2600 Eckerman Road in Magna Bay of Electoral Area F and is more particularly shown on the map below:

The owners are proposing to build a single family dwelling and guest cottage on the subject property and have applied for a 3-year Temporary Use Permit (TUP) to allow year-round vacation rental use of the guest cottage. Vacation rental is not a permitted use in the RSC (Rural and Resource Lands) zone and therefore requires a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) to operate legally. TUPs are issued for three years, renewable once.
