Update: 9:05 am
A repair to the Anglemont Water System's broken line is complete, however, it will take some time to refill the system's water reservoirs. This will mean residents will continue to experience low water pressure.
As a result, residents may also notice some sediment or cloudiness in their water. Water users are advised to run their taps for a few minutes to help flush out their lines. Water treatment was not affected by the break, so the water is safe to consume.

A major break in a water line is causing issues with the water service in Anglemont on Tuesday morning, January 26.
Some users of the system will be completely without water, while other may be experiencing reduced water pressure. (See map for affected area outlined in red.) This is due to reduced levels in one of the system's water reservoirs.
Repairs are currently underway, however, the CSRD does not have an estimate on how long it will take for all water service to be restored.
Once repairs have been made, it may take some time for the reservoir to return to normal levels.
The CSRD will update with more information as it becomes available. We thank residents for their patience as we work to restore service as quickly as possible.
