Wednesday, May 19, 2021

It's time to think bathing suits, towels and sunscreen when you head to the Sorrento-Blind Bay Community Park.

The spray park at the Sorrento-Blind Bay Community Park will be open for public use beginning Friday, May 21, 2021.

Hours of operation for the spray park are every day of the week between 9 am and 8 pm. In general, the spray park is open each year on the Friday of the Victoria Day weekend in May to the Monday of the Labour Day weekend in September. The spray park season is dependent on weather conditions and could be changed.

In addition to the spray park, Sorrento-Blind Bay Community Park includes a batting cage, tennis courts, soccer field, basketball court, three baseball diamonds with beautiful viewing areas, concession stands, dog park, and a playground with a state-of-the-art sun shade.

Users are reminded to respect COVID-19 public health measures when at the facility.
