[ARCHIVED] Water System Maintenance Underway

Monday, May 10, 2021

The CSRD is conducting fire hydrant maintenance and flushing of some of its systems over the month of May.

Work is scheduled as follows:

  • Anglemont, May 10 to 13
  • Scotch Creek, May 14
  • North Bay, May 17
  • Sorrento area, May 17-18
  • Sunnybrae, May 20 -21
  • Shuswap Lake Estates, May 19 to 27
  • Cedar Heights, May 28 & 31

When the work is done in your area, you may notice some cloudy water. This is normal. Water users can run their cold water in the bathtub or outside faucet until the cloudiness clears. The water is still properly disinfected and poses no health risk.
