Due to the current fire situation, there will be no opportunity today, Monday, August 16, for residents in any of the CSRD Evacuation Order areas to get temporary access permits. The only temporary access allowed into the Evacuation Order Zones will be for emergency services and essential utilities crews.
The situation for temporary access permits will be re-evaluated tomorrow and will be conducted on a day-by-day basis depending on the severity of the fires and potential threats to public safety.
