The Shuswap Emergency Program issued NO new Evacuation orders or alerts yesterday, August 6, after the 10 properties on Six Mile Creek Road were placed on evacuation order at 17 Hours.
There were no changes to any orders or alerts in the CSRD as of 8 am, Saturday, August 7. Any changes will be posted through the Alertable system, the CSRD website and the CSRD and Shuswap Emergency Program social media platforms.
There has not been an Evacuation Alert issued for the City of Salmon Arm at this time.
Many areas of our region had new evacuation orders and alerts issued last night.
They include:
- The City of Vernon
- The City of Armstrong
- The Township of Spallumcheen
- Splatsin
- Okanagan Indian Band
- Regional District of North Okanagan
- Regional District of Central Okanagan
- The Village of Chase
- The City of Kamloops
