There have been no major changes to the Hunawka Lake fire in the Seymour Arm area.
Smoke and wind continue to be an issue. This is affecting the ability to obtain an aerial view, which is the reason why mapping has not been able to be updated recently.
The fire remains classified as out of control. There was growth on the fire overnight to the north along the ridge. The fire edges are creeping forward, but the fire growth is generally moving away from the community.
