[ARCHIVED] Evacuation Alert Partial Rescind - White Rock Lake Fire

Wednesday, September 1, 2021

The Evacuation Alert issued by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District through the Shuswap Emergency Program due to the danger to life safety caused by a wildfire burning near White Rock Lake is hereby partially rescinded effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 17 Hours.

The areas now downgraded to all clear status are as follows:

  • All addresses at Falkland, Six Mile Road, Joyce Lake, Glenemma, Yankee Flats north to 1924 Yankee Flats Road and Salmon Valley North to 1912 Salmon River Road.

Cedar Hill (Sweetsbridge) including all addresses south of Highway 97 from 5157 Highway 97 east to the boundary with Okanagan IR1 remain on Evacuation Alert status.

An Evacuation Order remains in place for the area around Pinaus Lake.
