What is Development Variance Permit Number 650-45 (DVP650-45)?
The subject property is located at 7246 Squilax-Anglemont Road in Magna Bay in Electoral Area F and is more particularly shown on the location map:

The owners of the subject property are proposing to construct a mezzanine within the existing accessory building (shop) which will increase the floor area in the interior of the building from 111.5 m2 to 171.25 m2. This proposal requires a Development Variance Permit to vary the Anglemont Zoning Bylaw Number 650, Section 5.5.2(j) maximum floor area of an accessory building, from 55 m2 to 171.25 m2. Development Variance Permit Number 650-31 was issued in September 2011 prior to construction of the building to vary the maximum floor area from 55 m2 to 111.5 m2 and the maximum height of the building from 6 m to 7.77 m. The actual height of the accessory building is 7.3 m; therefore, staff propose to cancel DVP650-31 and include with this application a variance to Section 5.5.2(f) the maximum height of the accessory building from 6 m to 7.3 m.
