The subject properties are located in Blind Bay of Electoral Area C at 2411 Eagle Bay Road, legally described as The North ½ Legal Subdivision 3 Section 30 Township 22 Range 10 West of the 6th Meridian Kamloops Division Yale District Except: Land Covered by the Waters of Shuswap Lake at the Time of Survey of Said Lake Plans 999, 23382 and 32501; and 3304 Gray Road, legally described as Lot 4 Section 30 Township 22 Range 10 West of the 6th Meridian Kamloops Division Yale District Plan 9999 and are more particularly shown on the location map.
The applicants are neighbouring property owners and together they have submitted a Development Variance Permit application to reduce the minimum setback for docks and buoys from projected foreshore parcel lines as follows:

- Reduce the minimum setback from east projected parcel line into the foreshore for a floating dock from 5 m to 4 m
- Reduce the minimum setback from 3304 Gray Road east projected parcel line into the foreshore for two private mooring buoys (2411-1 and 2411-2) from 5 m to 0 m and in the location as shown on the site plan.
- 3304 Gray Road:
- Reduce the minimum setback from the west projected parcel line into the foreshore for a floating dock
- Reduce the minimum setback from the west projected parcel line into the foreshore for a private mooring buoy (3304) from 6 m to 0 m in the location as shown on the site plan.

A copy of the proposed permit application and relevant background documents may be inspected at the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm, beginning Tuesday, June 29, 2021 and ending Thursday, July 15, 2021 (Please note that CSRD office hours open to the public are subject to change depending upon Provincial Health Orders and recommendations.) Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your submission.
