The subject property is located south of the City of Revelstoke in Electoral Area B on Shaver Road. The owners would like to operate a 4 bedroom vacation rental on the property in the existing single family dwelling. Vacation rental use is not permitted in the Rural Residential 2 zone and therefore requires a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) to operate legally. TUPs are issued for three years, renewable once.
