Update: Water Service restored to residences on the MacArthur Reedman Water System

Repairs to the MacArthur Reedman Water System are complete and water service has been restored to the affected residents. 

Water users can return to using water from taps. There may be some sediment in the water as a result of the repairs. If so, please run the taps for a few minutes until the water runs clear.

The CSRD thanks residents for their patience during the unexpected shut-down of water service.

The water has been turned off to approximately 16 residences on the MacArthur Reedman water system to repair a leak.

The System is located on Eagle Bay Road in Electoral Area C.

The leak was discovered on Friday, December 9 at approximately 9 AM.

Work to fix the system is currently underway and water service will be restored as soon as possible . The contractor is estimating repairs will be completed before 5 PM today.

The CSRD apologizes for the inconvenience to affected residents.
