[ARCHIVED] Outdoor Rinks Shut down for the Season

Wednesday, March 3, 2021A Single Skate

Due to warm temperatures, all CSRD outdoor rinks are closed for the 2021 season.

This includes rinks at Parson Community Park, Farrell's Field and Sorrento-Blind Bay Park. The usual rink at Silver Creek Community Park was unable to open this year due to problems with the well water that serves the park.

The CSRD appreciates the work of our maintenance contractors in working to keep these rinks operational as much as possible during the winter. We also want to acknowledge the care taken by users in observing the COVID-19 safety protocols.

We look forward to bringing outdoor skating back again next season.
