Economic Development

Economic Development in the Columbia Shuswap Regional District is not managed directly by the CSRD, but is provided by three separate sub-regions:

• Revelstoke and Electoral Area B: Funding of economic development is managed by the City of Revelstoke.
• Golden and Electoral Area A: Golden Community  Economic Development (CED) leads the economic development function for the Town of Golden and CSRD Electoral Area A.
• Electoral Areas C, D and F: The Shuswap Economic Development Society took over this function in 2021.
