Tipping Fee Changes Coming in June
Differential tipping fees have been in place since 2009. The fees are consistent with the user pay strategy for refuse disposal and allow for incentives (decreased disposal fees) for taking the time to separate recyclable waste from the garbage and disincentives (increased disposal fees) for disposing of recyclable or bulky materials at a refuse disposal facility.
Scaled facilities accept cash, debit or credit card payments.
Unscaled facilities accept cash only.
