What is Lakes Zoning Amendment (Finz Resort Ltd.) Bylaw No. 900-21?
Bylaw No. 900-21 proposes to amend the FC3 – Foreshore Commercial 3 Zone of Lakes Zoning Bylaw No. 900 (Bylaw No. 900) to allow an expansion of the existing marina operation from 55 mooring berths to a total of 110 mooring berths, on the portion of Shuswap Lake adjacent to Lot 1, Sections 17 and 20, Township 22, Range 10, West of the 6th Meridian, Kamloops Division Yale District, Plan EPP51931, and partially described as DL 6021, KDYD and DL 5974, KDYD as shown on the following sketch:
The above descriptions of the purpose and effect of Bylaw No. 900-21 are only general. The bylaw may have an impact on property owners and tenants in occupation within the area. It is therefore important for all property owners and tenants in occupation to inform themselves fully as to the nature and effect of the bylaw.

Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw amendment, shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw at the Public Hearing.

A copy of the proposed bylaw and relevant background documents may be inspected at www.csrd.bc.ca/services/development-planning/current-planning and at the CSRD offices, 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 and ending Monday, November 13, 2017 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays); or, contact the staff person listed below.
How do I send a written submission?
Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 or may be submitted until the close of the Public Hearing. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter; however the author's phone number and email address are not relevant and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received will be available to the public and the applicant.
Please clearly write "Public Hearing Submission – Bylaw No. 900-21" on the top of your submission. The Board of the CSRD will not consider any verbal or written representations or submissions after the public hearing.
