Advisory Committee - Scotch Creek Master Water Plan Update

Bylaw Amendments to Floodplain Specifications (CSRD Zoning Bylaws)

The Board of Directors of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District adopted amendments to floodplain specifications in a number of Zoning Bylaws impacting Shuswap Lake and Mara Lake in Electoral Areas C, E, and F.

Input Needed for Solid Waste Management Plan Amendment

Electoral Areas B & E: New Building Regulation Inspection Service UPDATE

This new service will now start March 5, 2018.  

The service was proposed to start January 1, 2018, but it has taken longer than anticipated to prepare and adopt the new CSRD Building Regulation Bylaw No. 660.

Electoral Area F: New Building Regulation Inspection Service UPDATE

A Building Regulation Inspection Service has existed in the communities of Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Magna Bay, Anglemont and St. Ives since 2001.

A new service was planned to expand to apply to all of Electoral Area F beginning January 1, 2018, with the number of building inspections increasing from three to six.

New Hazardous Waste Collection Depot for Salmon Arm

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) is opening a permanent household hazardous waste collection depot at the Salmon Arm Landfill.  The depot will initially be open between 9 AM and 4 PM daily from November 25, 2017 to December 2, 2017.  After December 2, 2017 the depot will be open on Saturdays only from 9 AM to 4 PM.
