What is Development Variance Permit No. 701-90 (DVP701-90)?

The subject property is located at 4011 Eagle Bay Road in Eagle Bay of Electoral Area C and is more particularly shown on the location map below:

The owners of the subject property are requesting variances for construction of a garage within the required setbacks from Eagle Bay Road and the west interior side parcel line. The following variances are proposed for Lot 7, Section 1, Township 23, Range 10, West of the 6th Meridian, Kamloops Division Yale District, Plan 10924, varying South Shuswap Zoning Bylaw No. 701 as follows:

• Section 7.2.4 maximum height for accessory buildings from 6 m to 6.57 m, only for a detached garage.
• Section 7.2.5 minimum setback from the front parcel line from 5 m to 2.64 m, only for a detached garage; and
• Section 7.2.5 minimum setback from the west interior side parcel line from 2 m to 0.89 m, measured from the exterior walls of a detached garage only.

How do I send a written submission about this permit application?
Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your submission. The author's phone number and email address are not relevant to the Board’s consideration of this matter and should not be included in the written submission. Written submissions received by the CSRD are subject to public disclosure and a copy may be provided to the applicant. Please clearly write "DVP Submission – DVP701-90 on your submission. Where and when will the permit be considered for issuance?
At the CSRD, 555 Harbourfront Drive NE, Salmon Arm, BC, during the Regular Board Meeting commencing at 9:30 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2020. The Board meeting is open for public attendance, however, there is no specific opportunity for the public to provide verbal or written submissions about this permit application at this meeting.
