What is Development Variance Permit DVP701-79?

The property which is the subject of the Development Variance Permit is located at 3107 Trans-Canada Highway, and is described as Parcel A (Plan B6049) of the SE 1/4, Section 8, Township 22, Range 10, West of the 6th Meridian, Kamloops Division Yale District, (PID: 006-268-978), as more particularly shown on the map on the following Page 2. Development Variance Permit DVP701-79, if issued, would vary the C2 – Community Commercial zone in the South Shuswap Zoning Bylaw No. 701, for a gas station canopy on the property as follows:

  • Section 19.2.3 Minimum front parcel line setback from 5 m to 0.0 m.
  • Section 19.2.3 Minimum exterior side parcel line setback from 4.5 m to 0.0 m.

What is Development Permit DP725-139?

An application for a Development Permit for Form and Character of Commercial Development has been made on the same property, which, if issued, would be for the construction of a new gas station canopy to replace an existing canopy to be torn down.

Written submissions will be accepted at the CSRD until 4:00 PM on Tuesday April 17, 2018. The Board of the CSRD considers the author's name and residential address relevant to the Board's consideration of this matter and should be included in your Submission.
