On December 29, 2017, the BC Supreme Court granted the CSRD an injunction under which the City of Revelstoke is required to continue providing fire suppression services to the affected area under the same terms and conditions as in the existing agreement, until June 1, 2018.
The CSRD will coordinate a public meeting for affected residents within the next few weeks to discuss options available for the continuation of fire suppression after June 1, 2018. Property owners will be contacted directly once details of the public meeting have been finalized.
