Electoral Area 'B' Zoning Amendment (Eagle Pass Heliskiing) Bylaw No. 851-12

What is Electoral Area 'B' Zoning Amendment (Eagle Pass Heliskiing) Bylaw No. 851-12? BL851-12 proposes to amend the Electoral Area B Zoning Bylaw No. 851 by adding a site specific regulation to the RH – Rural Holdings Zone, which would be applicable to the SE ¼ of Section 25, Township 23, Range 3, West of the 6th Meridian, Kootenay District, Except Parts included in RW Plans 663A, 12984 and R265, located at 3451 Trans-Canada Highway, as shown on the following map:

The new site specific regulation would reflect current development on the site, thereby limiting the number of heli-tourism day lodges to two, and would include new definitions for heli-tourism related uses.

Who should attend? Anyone who believes that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw amendment, shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw at the Public Hearing.
